I'm thinking I would like to make some permies.com t-shirts. I have ideas to make something cool, but I feel like whenever I try to make something that looks cool, it comes out looking stupid.
I once designed a t-shirt and was fortunate to come across a guy that had a sense of cool and he made the t-shirt awesome! In fact, he drew my farmer guy back in 1994.
I tried to find him again and failed.
Anybody have any suggestions on how I might go about making a great t-shirt?
But that's just it. I used the guy to support a local non profit (which, I think, didn't bring us any new users - damn) and what I put together looked kinda lame compared to what the others looked like.
If I make t-shirts, it would be good if they were something that people liked to wear as opposed to something that people got rid of at a yard sale. And I think I might be a bit of a clod at knowing one from the other.
Your idea of the t-shirt listing a bunch of permie radical conversation starters is cool! You know, stuff that will make non-permaculture folks go "wha'?!" (Or "WTF ?!") List a few here and see what folks think!
I think wearing something that "shows" folks what permaculture is (or can be) would be mighty interesting, not to mention helpful!
