At this point,  I'm not really set on finding a partner to create a homestead.  I would love that,  but finding live while creating something so unconventional (currently) is a difficult task.
I'm open to anyone that wants to create something that focuses on life,  as opposed to work.
Currently I am looking for at least 5 acres to establish land that will produce for me and more.  I'm not sure how it all will work but open to discussion.
My scope falls within full off grid build to living in the grid,  but far enough off to have free reign over the land. (Ie. Livestock and such. )
I would like to lock in a time frame, maybe a year lease (lease meaning exchange for services/labor). And if we for exceptionally well,  then stay on/ purchase a sector of land or expand.
My goal is to be removed from the current standard of working for others.  Ideally you would have a similar mindset or just be looking for a retreat for a year or so.

I'm looking at buying 5 or more acres. I don't have a license so I'm unable to drive. Part of my networking with others. I lost it after some DUIIs that I got after the military and the last during covid and other personal drama.
That being said,  my focus is on moving away from the chaos of urban living.  To focus on what's important. Feeding our bellies and tending to the land.
My area of search is currently between ne Texas and the Virginia's.
If I can't find someone with similar integrate
Interests, I will start flipping homes to increase income potential for a future homestead.

Anyways,  get back to me with a moosage, let me know what you're looking for/ have to offer and we can go from there.

If important, in 38 and male.
This isn't a request for romantic partnership,  but I am open to it if a [woman] finds this post appealing.
That being said,  men and women with similar life goals are encouraged to respond.

Dev

Dev you are right to think how you are, getting hung up on romantic partner, the way world works now you could wait an eternity, better to find people in same boat and save each other from whats coming, the only way is to be OUT of society and do what humans have done for 100s of thousands of years.  The person or people you need could be 18 or 80, male or female as long as fundamentals are right thats what counts.  BEST OF LUCK!

Thank you for the support Markus.
I'm thinking I need to follow the sound advice of "if you build it,  they will come".
