Hello from the Colorado Grand Valley

My husband and I just purchased 40 acres outside of grand junction Colorado and wand to build an earthship home here. (Using earthbags instead of tires) and are excited to learn more about the process of building one of these amazing homes. Living in our bus conversion while we build.

Have you also thought about hay bales and stucco ? I've been looking at all sorts of non traditional construction and the idea of hay bales intrigues me...and CO is pretty dry, usually...
