Hi Zina,
Welcome to Permies! and thank you for sharing that video. Dandelion fritters look rather good, and so easy! I love the Dandelion field with all the large flowered plants, and the way the cook only took a few flowers from each plant, so leaving some for the insects...
I haven't got sound (and there don't seem to be subtitles) so I'm interpreting the recipe as:
Pick your Dandelion flowers and shorten the stalk.
Rinse (I'm guessing this since it wasn't shown, but the flowers looked rather dishevelled.)
beat one large egg in a bowl add one cup of flour and gradually mix in one cup of milk, season to taste with salt and pepper.
place the dandeliion flowers in the batter and stir to coat evenly
heat oil in a shallow pan and place the dandelion flowers carefully in and turn over when lightly browned.
Drain and serve.
I guess these would be good with a salad, or what sort of dipping sauce might go well? Or do you just eat neat as a snack?
