White vs Red Mulberry Seedling Identification

I just dug up about 40 small 1-2 year old mulberry trees. There is one mature red and one mature white within 100 yards. I noticed the roots are in two shades. Some are the broken orange I'm used to seeing and some are more of a yellow. Could that be a way to identify the red vs white trees? Or it there some other way to identify them at this stage?

Here's a photo of my red mulberry seedlings if leaves are helpful at all.

I can look at the roots tomorrow if you don't get an answer in the meantime.

I don't remember them having any color but dark brown when I potted them up from the flat.

Here's some pictures of the roots on one of my potted red mulberries.

I planted from known red mulberry fruit that had just fallen off a red mulberry tree.

Roots are cream color maybe?
