I just dug up about 40 small 1-2 year old mulberry
trees. There is one mature red and one mature white within 100 yards. I noticed the
roots are in two shades. Some are the broken orange I'm used to seeing and some are more of a yellow. Could that be a way to identify the red vs white trees? Or it there some other way to identify them at this stage?
