What the best breed of pigeon for meat?

Were interested in raising pigeons for their manure and eating them as well. Any preference on breeds? I like the homing pigeons-anyone used these for meat? Has anyone tried their eggs?

I used to raise a breed called "King pigeon" which grew into larger birds than homing pigeons or tumblers. "Utility pigeons" describe the class to which King belongs.
 
Farmers know to never drive a tractor near a honey locust tree. But a tiny ad is okay:
