deer repellent sprays - anybody every use them?

Hello folks,

Just wondering if anybody has any experience using sprays like these?

supposed to be all natural, and keep deer off of plants (to an extent).

Curious because although we have an electric deer fence, they sometimes get through anyhow and destroy certain crops (any bitter greens like chicory seem to be candy to them).

I would guess that if they are hungry enough, they'll still eat. Let me know -

If they're too hungry nothing but a shotgun will stop them; however, I've had good results with Liquid Fence - it uses putrescent egg solids to keep them away. I was just thinking of asking here if anyone's used it to keep their goats from nibbling newly planted trees on the occasions they escape.

Personally, I have never used any of the liquids. I have met people who claim they work great.
And I have met those who tell me that the liquids are useless.

If you have lush, green fields, and it is dry and barren beyond your fence, I don't believe anything would keep them away. By the same token, I know people who have spread nice seed mixtures beyond their fences, and seldom see the deer on the inside of the fence...they are provided with plenty of food outside.



Worst comes to worst, you need a bigger freezer.
