Hi,

Really enjoyed today’s webinar 45 Low Tech Bricks to Build a Better World , thank you

A little bit of help please?

I would like the 3-d plan offered in the email which I received today at 18.37, Portuguese time, as shown below, for the Pebble style RMH

However, when I click the link to the website page, https://permies.com/wiki/193712/Plans-Pebble-Style-Rocket-Mass <https://permies.com/wiki/193712/Plans-Pebble-Style-Rocket-Mass>, and scroll down to the ‘click here to download’, nothing happens?

Least Its not in my downloads folder on my computer, but it is showing, in name only, in ‘my stuff’ as a freebie

I click on the link in ‘free stuff' and it returns me to the link above … if I click on the title, I go to this page, https://permies.com/forums/forums/wikiBacklink/list/193712 <https://permies.com/forums/forums/wikiBacklink/list/193712>; which has nothing on it …

I would like the Pebble RMH plans as my intention to build a RMH has been thwarted by the scarcity and seeming unavailability of Adobe/Cob, here in Portugal

I see the Pebble design as a viable alternative

Thank you for your patience

Gary

Then I received a reply email:

Hi Gary,

Thanks for letting us know.

Things like this are best posted to the Tinkering Forum on permies.com
https://permies.com/f/11/tnk

The senior staff and technical support watch that forum very closely and it would be the fastest way to get the information to the people that can do something about it.

a permies.com volunteer ....

Which didn't solve the request, so as suggested, could someone please help me out and point me in the right direction for the RMH 'Pebble' plans?

Many thanks

i read your post twice.  And I think the only thing we need to look at is this part

and scroll down to the ‘click here to download’, nothing happens?

Right?

I clicked on it and it downloaded for me just now.  And I was able to view it.  All good.

And you click on it, and nothing happens.

Time for you to tell us about your browser, o/s and stuff like that.  Do you have space on your computer?  Do you have another computer/browser you could try?

Hi, thanks,

Ok, so here's my system:

I'm on an Applemac Pro, Laptop, 2016, O/S - Monterey 12.7.2, Browser - Safari 17.2.1

I do have space on my computer, I'm open to which OS you'd suggest other than Chrome or Vivaldi ...

Ok, cool, I'll wait a few days to see what happens, might be lucky but in the meanwhile, I'll give Firefox a look and try to download the Pebble RMH

Thanks again

Any progress?

It seems that all of the apple people here on permies don't wanna help you.  So you're stuck with me.  I'll do my best.

At the moment, I am thinking that something is wonky with your browser.  All browsers go wonky once in a while.  Sometimes I have to reboot my computer to get stuff to work.  I normally use chrome, but if something goes weird I also try firefox.  If it works then, then I think "ah, chrome has gone wonky" and restart it - that usually fixes everything.

Hi Paul

FYI

l have managed to download the RMH Pebble design onto my iPad

I didn’t change the browser on my laptop, but I have put it in for a service and apparently it needs new battery?

Can’t see that being the cause, but you never know…

Many thanks for your input
