Hey all,

This came up in my youtube feed and I really enjoyed watching the way this project was put together.  He is very mindful with his video about describing the why's and hows of his build with plenty of useful suggestions.

The guy was able to make this without using a welder which is, I think, pretty impressive.

He has another wood gas project on his channel, but it is not nearly as simple and easy as this one.

In my thinking, this is a really cool channel, with a bunch of really unique projects.

I subscribed.

I found after years of experimenting that it was really easy to make a small engine work on a raw wood gasifier... once. Based on the look of the output he is going to have major tar buildup in the engine. For a no weld design you are much better going for a charcoal based gasifier. you could check out www.driveonwood.com for dozen of different solution for raw wood and charcoal based gasifiers.
