My name is Heather and I am currently attending the urban sustainability program at Merritt College in Oakland, CA. I have been interested in the lifestyle for a while especially since I have been in California where you have to work 2 jobs or more to survive. I am looking to find a somewhat small piece of land in the near future and start a small farm to pretty much provide everything I need and what it does not I would love to be in a area where there are others like me so I could barter.
