Just in case someone doesn't have this wonderful 'weed'...I would be glad to mail a tablespoon or so of seed (unhusked) to anyone who wants some...just PM an address. I cut seed stalks today and they need a bit of drying...we got some rain yesterday:) I can start mailing it in about a week.
I have it everywhere...at all different ages. We are still eatting a bit of the newer leaves.

Hi, Katherine...I have a little bit of seed left...just PM an address to me and I will send you some....as long as you are in the US. It costs about sixty cents to mail in the states and when I started to mail to Canada it was $6.50! There is a lot of information on line about it's many uses.

John, you could throw it on top of the soil right now and rake it in a little just for good measure...but not necessary. It is considered a weed by many because it grows from seed very readily. You can also go out and find mature plants right now that are starting to leaf out, dig them up, divide them and replant. By the way, my pigs and ducks love curly dock.

Hi, John...I usually scatter it around right when the seed heads are dry, any time late summer here. As Amy says, though, now is the time for yours
and raking in a bit is a good idea...planting just before a good, hard rain helps also. We are eating young leaves from established plants now. I haven't seen any young plants from last summers seed yet. good luck!
