This is a really well written book.  It explains a lot of the most important concepts and practices about biochar.  It has a lot of practical information.  Some of the ideas in the book were brought up as a concept by myself or others in this forum.  "Add flour to your inoculation to help build fungus in the soil", for example, or "grind up the char in large burlap bags". Even if you make up an idea that works, it's very possible that others have also made up that idea independently in another location without either one knowing.  It is nicely confirming to see that others have come up with the same ideas.  Many of the ideas are suggested by people here in the biochar forum.  Some people won't want to dig back through all of the old posts to find the ideas, so buying the book makes sense.  Obviously, it's not as useful to someone using biochar for making cement or for industrial filtering, for example.

I give this book 9 out of 10 acorns.
