Home ReSource in Missoula

After being away for twelve years I just arrived back in Missoula.  It's great to be back. 

One thing I left behind was a bed frame.  So I needed to build a new one.  Somebody mentioned that I could save a lot of money by getting materials from "Home ReSource".  So my bed is built from some seriously old wood!

What a funky place!  Heaps of cool stuff for freaky cheap.

And ....  I was visiting with a fella about how I wanna build a rocket mass heater and am looking for some metal ducting.  His response was that a rocket mass heater was so cool that surely the folks at Home ReSource would donate to the project.  Later that day I got an email saying "Yeah!  We'll set you up with the ducting!"

Home Resource is moving to a new location and they need help!!!  I was just there on Sunday, Feb. 21 and found out about work days.  Every Thursday and Friday and then the last two weekends of March, they're working to get organized and moved.  Get over and give 'em a hand.

Is the new store open yet?  I drove by it the other day and I cant remember when in April the sign said that it would open.  Went when they were having the sale at the old place and got some nifty things to help make my Degu cage.

Re-Opening was April 10th

Lots of work going on there, saw them digging up part of the lot as I drove by today.

My friend has found cabinet doors there with beveled edges & flat square centers.

She paints art in the center & the finished pieces look like ready framed art.
Pretty cool!
