Another plant that I've had great luck with cuttings taken before frost, that roots in water. I've only done this with heirloom impatiens, don't know if this would work with the newer hybrids. The payoff for doing this is happy blooming plants, of many different colors all winter long. The only problem I know of is if you don't deadhead the flowers you will have seeds everywhere!
Even hybrids will usually root easily, and this is a good way to keep plants going from year to year that are a challenge or impossible to get seed from and are expensive to replace every year. In the spring you can clip up an overwintered plant or two into cuttings and have whole beds of them over the summer if you like...
