I'd like to lease a bit of land to live on, where I can grow my own food, preferably either in Alberta or Ontario, but I'm open to other provinces.

I can pay $300/month, and could also help with chores around the property. I've done some wwoofing in the past and don't mind hard work as long as it's a fair exchange.

I'm not interested in communal living. I've had too many people exploit me in the guise of 'sharing'. So I don't want to be responsible for anyone but myself, and I don't want to be beholden to anyone for anything. I just want to lease some land where I can have a kitchen garden and some ducks, and be in control of my own life.

I'm currently in Ontario (GTA), and don't have a driver's license. If someone could drive me from A to B, I'll pay for gas plus whatever you consider fair for your time. (I own an SUV; it's no good to me without a license, so I can sell it and pay out of that.) The only reason I don't have a license is because the man who's forcing me to live with him takes my entire income every month, otherwise I'd get that done and drive away.

I'm a capable person and can sort out my problems on my own, I only need help with the driving, to get out of here. From there I can deal with everything else.

Geez Kaylee. That's an ugly situation. I hope you can get out of there ASAP. Controlling people can become violent when they suspect they are losing their control. This does not strike me as a safe situation.

Yeah, it definitely feels like I'm on thin ice. The sad thing is, a couple years ago I was about to buy a nice property, but he decided to "borrow" that money and I couldn't stop him, and now I'm out of options.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
