This is the second growing season for my paw paws and the last they will be shaded.  Was wondering what y'all plant under them as a companion. perhaps another carrion smelling flower that blooms around the same time to attract more pollinators?

I have some Canadian ginger that I've put under a couple of mine, but they are more of a true understory situation, at least for a few more years.

The pair at my old place had lovage between them and a lilac nearby and I got very good pollination.
