Im looking to build a 25' long by 15' wide with a 8' peak and 6' back firewood shed. I have been cutting ash trees down for new pastures and i have all the limb wood ranging from 2'' round to 5'' round. What would be the best way to anchor them together? Im lost.

Hi Michael Quick, welcome to Permies,

What would be the best way to anchor them together? Im lost.

I'm lost too??? "anchor them?" Them what? I understand 25' long, but 8' peak and 6' back is a bit confusing. I am not sure if your design is plausible (or appropriate.) for a wood drying shed. What do you plan to frame it with?

Wish I could be of more help,

j

Jay: From what I gather, he wants a shed with a rectangular footprint (25'x15') with a single-plane sloped roof, 8' tall in the front (loading) edge, but down to 6' tall in the back. I guess that is called a "Pent Roof Shed" viewable at the top HERE. Is that correct Michael?

This guy is skipping without a rope. At least, that's what this tiny ad said:
