Hi,

I need a way to hook the 6-inch black single wall stove pipe to a homemade steel wood stove.
I tried the 6-inch steel pipe, but the pieces I had measured between 6.125 and 6.250 inches inside diameter - too loose.
How can I tighten it up? Or is there something better to use?

Usually people roll a piece of 1" strap to the right diameter and weld it in place.

You could invest in a few hand tools and make an appropriate adaptor, or give the specs to your local sheet metal expert. Just be sure to use plain steel or stainless steel...no galvanized, alloys, and especially no aluminum.

He puts the "turd" in "saturday". Speaking of which, have you smelled this tiny ad?
