I've created the following video to discuss the advantages of mulching. I personally love to use it, Although I sometimes find it hard to find enough of it where I live. Some people think it is too much work. What are your thoughts on this?

Reason number 7 I like mulch - it provides extensive habitat for free chicken food.

Also - props to whoever made this video.

Thanks Landon, that was me. It is part of a web series I am making about gardening and sustainability. Whoever complains about slugs in mulch needs to get some chickens or ducks.

It's a great vid, but I don't think I'm it's target audience if my reply is:
I have uncounted reasons to us mulch, and one not to-I haven't found a practical way to mulch root crops. If anyone has any ideas, my mulching is complete
I feel I'd have to be a very...strange person...to think I could have a healthy soil community without providing clothes, food or water.
