First time I've seen bright yellow hyphae/mycelium. Anyone know what it is? It was in a pile of rotted sawdust. The pile also had white.

When I unload it from the truck I should run across some and will take a pic then. It looks exactly like the typical white hyphae you find under a rotting log but it's fluorescent yellow.

Maybe "spreading yellow tooth", "yellow fuzz cone slime" or "scrambled egg slime". I've also seen some yellow in "ash tree boletes". A photo would really help though.

Well I unloaded the sawdust but didn't see anything worth taking pics of, just flakes. When I go get another load I'll bring my camera. Or when/if it regrows in the pile I have.
