I am not sure if I have got a good deal on the hot water or not. Let me know what you think
Firstly the LL has fitted a brand new water heater with up todate standards of insolation
But it's sized for a family of 4 and it's 200 litre.
It has no adjustable thermostat it's set for 60c for " safety reasons "
This machine is linked up to an off peak electric supply that I cannot change the times for .
I am not sure if I would be better off having a timed setting and using less hours or not .

If it truly is properly insulated, you should have no issues. The new ones really don't lose much heat to the atmosphere. It is set hot enough to kill legionnaire's, way hotter than you need for a shower, so you have a lot of energy stored and you should have good prices for off-peak electricity.

Don't worry about it, go enjoy the garden.
