Mud Here,
In the early 1900s a gold rush brought several thousand people to remote Rhyolite Nevada USA where the expense of bringing in wood and other building materials made life really uncomfortable. 120 years later I wandered by because I had heard about a house built by a saloon keeper almost entirely out of bottles.
