I was wondering about this. The bricks will be stabilized with cement, and compacted by two tons of pressure. The folks at Factor E farm seem to think they could be used for roadways.

Has anybody tried this? I don't need them to last forever, either.

Hi Gilbert,

Quick answer...yes...they can be used for pathways...even high traffic pathways, yet this will depend on quality of "mean, methods and materials...as well as...the proper foundational design elements. Do this incorrectly (poor drainage being the big one) and it will be destroyed in a season...

I know of simple "log rounds" that are over 25 years old and going strong...yet they are the good species, and laye in a well drained foundational matrix.

Regards,

j
