I scored a bunch of vintage art supplies last week and wanted to share the great vintage DIY paintbrush travel rolls that were in it. So cheap and simple to do!
They used just: a bamboo placemat, some elastic trim and an old shoelace!

Weave the elastic in and out of the placemat and tie the shoelace on one end. Then you can slide in any brushes you want.
Holds everything you need and it's light, easy to carry and you don't have to make sure they are all completely dry before rolling it up to go home.
