Anyone have any experience or knowledge of a method to make movable (by hand) fencing from bamboo? I'm hoping to build something that can keep in a few chickens, possibly a pig to begin with, to disturb some pastureland to make into garden.

If you have a good supply of bamboo look into wattle fencing. Larger bamboos need to be split then weaved.
