Ahoy!
The owner of the
land I work (and intend to own in the future) has a nasty habit of making a dump of the place. Let's leave it at that.
To cut to the quick... I intend to build a gully dam to turn a deep little ravine (cross section is ~25 ft. wide by 15 ft. deep) into a productive
water feature. Rather than have the farmer fellow (who is too old to learn new tricks, I'm afraid) dump the
concrete someplace where his dim eyes can't see it but my keen vision is sickened daily, could I use it for the core of the embankment dam? It's all cement block with a little rebar possible. Probably two
tractor bucket's worth. Dam keeners-what's your thought? If it's just flat dumb, go ahead and say so. I suspected it could be, but am stuck between a pricey and laborious dump run in ten years and...finding a solution.
Thanks!!
