Looking to start an off grid community! MEMBERS/ VOLUNTEERS WANTED

My name is Andrew Stoker. I will be 44 this year.  I’m happily married with 7 children.  I grew up on a farm so I have an extensive understanding of everything agriculture. I work as a building contractor so my building understanding is superior to most. We currently live on a small farm and enjoy all the joys and challenges of farm living! Our farm is located in southern Idaho.

Years ago I started having dreams that I should prepare myself, my family and property for a massive global disaster. That there will be thousands of people who will come from the south seeking refuge and I, if I prepare, am called by God to help them, not as a permanent arrival point but a refuel type situation.

I call my project the ARK. I am a, as some would say an intensely religious person. I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love and admire all of my fellow christian  kindred, even if they do not share my religious affiliation.  My life revolves around my faith. I would not and do not force my beliefs on anyone. I believe that any form of faith is beautiful and I will encourage you to believe how, where or what you may.

Unfortunately the way the world is structured it is hard to spend a ton of time preparing my property to function off grid and also make enough financial means to afford to live and purchase things I need to do it. I’m posting as a call for help. I have 3 comfortable homes and food to impart for trade for full time helpers. I have also been developing a RV and camp ground on my property so you could bring your own off grid living domicile. “There are only two creatures of value on the face of the earth: those with the commitment, and those who require the commitment of others.”

Tasks that may be involved: Building, Planting, Excavation, Managing Others, Planing, Organizing, Solar Panel Setup, Geothermal Greenhouse Construction, Digging a Second Well by Hand, etc.

How many hours for rent/food?  Any other perks?

This sounds like an opportunity to come and learn, if okay.

The expected hours would vary, depending on how many people were attending in your group. 10 to 30 hours a week. We would love to have other children here. Our 7 kids have been the joy of our life and do a lot of the chores on the farm. Their ages rang from 18 to 7. It would be cool to get to know you.
