The leaves are a dark maroon and the flowers look like wild rose. It was at my brothers house so I know he bought it at a nursery. I want it because it was buzzing with all types of bees

That is called Ninebark, used widely in the landscape industry especially with popularity of natives in recent years.

Thank you I will have to do some research on Ninebark now. I can tell from what I witnessed today is that bees were all over it.
