Ecoladrillos of all sizes.

The text continues in the next reply because I don't know
how to embed a picture in the middle of text.

Early this morning my cat snuck unto my chair and slept
beside me with a paw on my hand and before I got
up to pee she made biscuits on my chest.

I guess this is a good omen because she does not bestow
these honours often.

I am addressing "the letter" to people who can propel
this into reality and make this world a little better.

My sole contribution is to tie together actual real
existing ideas. Nothing is vapourware.

My jewel in the crown is plastics for petrol/diesel
vouchers but I have been beaten to the punch by a
10-year old Delhi girl who will give you 2kg of rice
in exchange for 1kg of waste plastic. True Story.
Video in the "too long didn't read"  section.

Here is a rough draft of "the letter".

You can share it, discuss it and comment/contribute..

- Did the opening paragraphs bite enough to get you
past the "too long didn't read"  and reach the video?
- If you have anything to contribute, you will be
listed as co-author. Ideas like replacing Birkin with
a better known brand of luxury handbag or a rewrite
to make this punchier for modern audiences. It's just
that my grammatical mistakes and turns of phrase
proves that I am not an AI.
- Or offer to translate. I do need help with the
  "Ampun Tuanku, ..... " stuff.
- Present this in a TEDx talk?
- Or render it in Shakespearen prose in a school play.

But don't take too long.

You can identify yourself as
anonymous/telephone number/nickname/initials/email address/galactic title.
My galactic title is "eLYE, idea wallah, 198555131*101*3, PS Ego vere non vis esse Deum."
If you want to support this, the minimum is a vote
at the referendum or you can start a petition.
Or tell me "I know how to contact Keanu."

And so here it is before the final polish.

Teenager Boyan Slat's The Ocean Cleanup attempts to
collect plastic trash from Ocean Gyres like
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch - most come from
fishing activities.

His SECOND attempt is aimed at rivers to prevent
plastic trash from reaching the ocean.

My Ecoladrillo idea is aimed at preventing
plastic trash from entering the drain/river.
Ecoladrillos are key due to the proliferation of
drinking water bottles and are clean/light/small
enough to put into your Birkin handbag.

     My idea encompasses contaminated plastic.
Essentially all and every plastic including those
that produce toxic gasses (#3 PVC, #7 group (except
                                ABS), Nylon & Silicone).
     Including silicone.
     Including PVC.

AND what to do with what is collected because Boyan
Slat doesn't address this but leaves it to the
      government hosting the River Interceptors.

It takes into account our unique Malaysian traits
wherein I spot a car in the car park opening its
door slightly and something gets deposited on the
  ground before closing.

This bar, the quantum barrier, is set so low and yet
this is our reality, what we have to work with.
We are not altruistic, not really.
We are also not Japanese. Never expect that.

It should work because the best magnet for plastic
trash is money especially if it is exempt from income
tax. No questions asked.

My twist is for the amount of plastic you turn in, you
get a voucher for a certain amount of petrol or diesel
good at any petrol station and even those driving
foreign vehicles. While cash is best this adds
authentication.

Black markets can't be avoided.
With the escalating price of diesel due to the US-Iran
war, some smart criminal may do exactly this without
the environmental controls in place of course.

Does SwCorp ever boast of how they deal with the
rubbish their sub-contractors collect? I cannot find
any video. The first thing I expect to see on their
home page is their KPI writ large.

So since 01Sep2015, what are its achievements? Do not
highlight The Reverse Vending Machine (RVM).
I do not see this at any pasar malam. Enough said.

It is best if the price - which fluctuates daily and
can be seen on the APP - is favourable to attracting
this plastic whose disposable and emissions can be
controlled.

My idea was stuck until I discovered Amager Bakke from
a comment in some forgotten article. Comments are worth
reading even if there is a conflict with the
establishment. That I come across crucial stuff by
chance, dropped into my lap, leads me to suspect some
divine guidance.

In short, the government buys back plastic to be safely
pyrolyzed into fuel which offsets the price paid. The
price is adjusted to be more favourable than what shady
organisations in remote abandoned factories can come up
with. The price is also adjusted down if water or other
material is added to increase the weight. This is why I
need a think tank - to outgame those who game the
system.

Start in one area, measure and iterate before expanding
outwards. It keeps everyone on their toes and villains
guessing.

For a start, maybe a ski slope Amager Bakke in Janda
Baik with recreational facilities, hostel for student
researchers, tour and museum.

This requires both the government and private
investment. Everybody has to ship in. The public gains
by working at it. Voluntary does not cut it.

Add a second in KL city featuring a food court and free
process heat for anyone(including companies and
restaurants) to cook food especially Sous Vide. It will
be a tourist attraction and learning centre cum museum
cum gift shop that will put us ahead of Singapore.

The rest is the "too long didn't read"  stuff - opinions, examples,
references, numbers.

I don't want to export this model. I want them to come
to us. No roadshows. I have seen too many isolated
attempts which while successful, still remain local.
Just examine how old those videos are. 9 years. 12
years. Enough time to go viral.
Yet none of these have reached our shore.
Yet nothing the residents associations are setting up.

I don't want anyone rising to exhalted positions and
political appointees as CEOs and golden sanitaryware.
In fact I prefer this lean and mean. Little bureaucracy
and a limited lifetime - this will exist until the next
General Elections.

It is up to the next government to start this AFRESH so
new players and experienced ones cannot create a
monopoly as ACT 673 did.
Something like Ricardo Semler's Semco.

The government should practice holding referendums.

SwCorp has a YouTube channel.

In it I found mostly fluff except one video that
records just 7 views for 1 year. This is the video. It
scores 1 like. No guesses from whom.

Plot twist her Wikipedia page does not mention this project.

ACT 672 officially began 01Sep2015. It is now 10 years
old with

    "17 Dec 2025 — SHAH ALAM, Dec 17 (Bernama) --
Selangor is expected to sign the Solid Waste and
Public Cleansing Management Act 2007 (Act 672)
around the third quarter of 2026, or by September
the next year at the latest."

"The Sun Webdesk  Thursday, 18 Dec 2025, 7:44 am
SHAH ALAM: Selangor is expected to sign the Solid
Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007
(Act 672) by the third quarter of 2026.

I don't find this at all amusing.

I don't call this progress.

I call this a quantum leap.
(quantum - the smallest amount or unit of something,
   especially energy . . . Cambridge Dictionary)

So what happened in 2016? I saw some neighbours place
plastic bags for collection - each labelled paper,
plastic, cans, etc.

Today, in 2026, everything goes into one plastic bag or
bin.

I see it daily as I notice ragpickers pick up aluminum
cans and corrugated cardboard. And so I regularly take
a peek into dustbins. Despite ACT 672, these dustbins
have everything dumped inside. No separation at all. It
is the same story at my Church's huge rubbish bins.
Once I spot a can, mixed in there is no compliance.

With the gig economy and food/parcel deliveries, Ikats
Mati and Ikats Tepi are the norm. Nobody refuses to use
plastic straws. That ban is a joke. I continue to see
plastic bags provided in Japanese and Korean
dramas/movies. What gives? Those Stainless Steel straws
you see on sale continue to stay on sale. Even my wife
and I stopped carrying ours.

The collection times are so erratic that clean dry
corrugated cardboard and newspaper are soaked by the
evening rains.
NOBODY goes out to bring these in.
Not the houseowner.
Not the maids.

Examples. blah blah blah

References. blah blah blah

I volunteer to be in any discussion/think tank. The
talks will be transcribed by a court stenographer and
published in a public website. I don't like secrecy and
covert side deals.

My proposal is open to many tweaks which I have left
out. I have only one mind with multiple points of view
but it can't do better than a Red Team and a Blue team
in a think tank. There are many kinks to iron out.
Webtoon? Ezine?

We can do better than SwCorp. Make it a race?
They had 10-years head start.

If we don't start, we never will.

The greatest shame is adults doing nothing while a
child and teenager spearheads movements.

Now it's just a dream. a vision.

But don't you think it will make a damn fine mission?
