It's tomato season. Mine are ripening. Have eaten some already but soon there will be many more ready. I was thinking of how to best use some beautiful Cherokee Purples. My absolute favorite tomato & also my best crop ever of them. My grandmother used to make tomato gravy. It tasted way better than is seems like it would taste. Haven't had that in many years & have never made it so I looked it up. This looks more or less how she made it. Try it. Your taste buds will thank you.
