Tomatoes and pepper issues

Hello!
Coming here from a small organic farm in Onatrio, cobden. Currently in apprenticeship here.
Our tomatoes and peppers looks quite sad.
They are living in a catterpillar tunnel. Soil is well amended with compost, chicken manure and bone meal.
Are they having a heat stroke? They've been like that for the past few days. Wondering if they'll come back to life.

Can't tell what's going on but I've seen tomatoes much, much come back to life. Like laying over dead, but usually that's right after transplanting. If they look happier in the evening after watering it may be too hot under the fabric.

Just wanted to close the topic as a resolved issue.

It was caused by a heap of chicken manure put directly at the base of the plant. It was not mixed. The chicken manure, combined with water, burnt the stem off, from 20-50%. Gladly, tomatoes can grow new roots from the stem. Can't say so much for the peppers though.
