Tiny House Solution for NYC?

Hello All!

I am looking desperately for a place anywhere in NYC to park my tiny house. Is there anywhere it is even remotely possible in the city?

I want to live moderately close to Manhattan but want to live in my tiny trailer house on wheels.

Jersey. Staton Island.
Some one there might have a drive way to spare...

By agreeing to do night security at jobsites, you can be paid to live in some very expensive neighborhoods. Companies own or rent those security trailers. I've seen this done with a motor home and I've done it myself in a camper van. I didn't have to stay awake or go on patrol. Just had to be there from 9 pm until 7 am. I made $75 per night, downtown near the wharf, where motel rooms go for $150.

Hi Dale, how would I go about finding these security companies. I have live in NYC. And I will be purchasing an RV. Your thoughts on how and where to contact them would be really helpful. Thanks!

Also, Jonathan, did you ever find a solution to finding a spot for your tiny home? Would love to chat with you about it as I will soon be in a similar situation.
