Hi I'm new here and just learning how to use the site. I am a professional land manager and sheep shepherd.

Welcome to permies, shepherding is a time-honoured profession and I'd imagine it requires a certain amount of patience for sure, because sheep.

Hello Shep - another welcome to Permies.  Lots of friendly folk and useful advice to be found (or sought) here.  I've been a textile aficionado for more years than I care to mention.  I have a particular affinity for wool though - recently using small skeins to trial all the plants growing on our block.   When we were crutching the 'spinning' flock for fly strike prevention, it seemed that I always made rice as part of dinner.  Guess I'm suggestible, eh?

Happily living in the valley of the dried frogs with a few tiny ads.
Contemplate spending the next 20 years puttering in permaculture projects
