Hey everyone!

I'm MacK, and I'm building Feral Canyon on 76 acres in British Columbia.

We're off-grid and slowly building out the land, food systems, infrastructure, and all the other fun things that come with figuring out how to make a place work from the ground up. 😂

But I'm also interested in something bigger than the homestead itself: intentional community built around people rather than predefined roles.

So I'm here to learn.

For those of you who have been building intentional communities, shared land projects, or collaborative homesteads: What questions should I be asking?

I'd love to hear what you've learned along the way — especially the stuff you wish someone had told you at the beginning.

Thanks for your time!

Welcome to permies MacK, glad you're here to share what you know and also to learn with us.  Some people on here live in intentional communities and some don't, in fact the person who started this forum, Paul, has lots of insights into what has worked in his experiences and what hasn't, he has lots of community living experience.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
