Our founding group of queer women is transitioning the ownership of our 30-acre homestead in central Minnesota. We are looking for aligned stewards to either take over the property completely or join us as co-owners to keep the intentional community going.

Behind the farmhouse, a wooded trail leads to a mossy gathering space with a log-and-stone fire pit circle and a tree platform overlooking the land.

Land: 30 acres featuring forested areas, a creek, a pond, permaculture gardens (hügelkultur), native plantings, established perennial flowers, fruit trees, and a ~1-acre dry-farmed plot.
Farmhouse: ~4,000 sq. ft. across 3 levels with 9 bedrooms. Features solid heating, updated systems, quiet internal layout, and good structural bones.
Outbuildings: Garage, woodshop barn, event barn, quonset barn for storage, a silo, honeybee hives, and a spayed farm cat.

Ownership & Transition Options: We are open to a few different arrangements depending on who reaches out:

Outright Purchase: An established group of 2+ people buys the property entirely ($500k–$550k, open to terms).
Gradual Buyout / Transition: A new group transitions in while remaining founding members gradually step back over an agreed timeline.
Join as a Co-Owning Resident: Individuals or small groups buy a share in the property (~$50k–$80k per share) to co-own and live on the homestead alongside remaining members.

You've been quite cagey about the location, so I guess that has to be intentional, but I wonder if you can narrow it down a little more than rural Minnesota. Any one of the following might be useful for people interested in dealing with you without being too revealing: the approximate latitude, the county, the drive time to The Cities.

Of course! We are about 2 1/2 hours from Minneapolis St. paul, but are closer to other mid sized cities like St. cloud, Bemidji, Fargo, Detroit Lakes, about 45 minutes to an hour drive from these. The closest small town is a 5-6 minute drive from our property.
