I was reading Wayne's thread about "Woo Woo", and got hooked surfing TEDtalks on YouTube. I think it is worth mentioning time and time again as many permaculture teachers, ecologists, and scientists say at large, "Observation is the key to discovery". Here a nice TEDtalk by Heather Barnett about her discoveries from observing a slime mold:
