The guy we bought our homestead land from did that. Not to us because I finance our land through a VA program.
He built a couple of brick house on 1 acre lots, then started bringing in mobile homes.
He owner financed those and after a few month most folks moved on for one reason or another, so he sold the houses again and again ...
