• Azure food order came through today, food reserves restocked.
+ Major Bonus to be able to buy bulk, high quality organic food.
(Boots have the option to add to order with their own $, bought some quality vegan protein powder)

-Day 26-

• FRIDAY!!!
• Got off early today (used time from fixing washer)
• Laundry Day
• Assembled mobile miter saw cart
• Helped out fellow Ant Brother Jeremy stock his wood supply
• Worked on pantry/storage shelving in Library
• Nest labor, stocked Fisher Price house wood supply

-Day 27- Sabbath

• Rest Day / No Work

-Day 28-

• Phase III Shop Restoration continues
• +5 hours overtime

Akhu, I am so impressed! Having a clean, organized shop is so important to getting things done...I know, because I my husband usually doesn't put things away, resulting in a disorganized mess that's really hard to get things accomplished in. A clean work area is a place that inspires and feeds creativity and productivity.

What are your tips for helping others to learn where things are and to clean up when they've used them?

My biggest tip would be big easy to read labels, and keeping related items together
this was my original idea behind the zones/station/workspaces
i.e. Zone 4, Carpentry would contain everything relating to woodworking

The labels will be especially important for top shelves where some items cannot be seen,
and for people unfamiliar to the Shop. I am trying to maintain the original setup but after
cleaning up a zone there is usually A LOT more space so some items will be moved to new locations.

• Commenced rolling shelf project.
• Dismantled half of the old garage shelves

-Day 30!!!-

Time has flown by here at the Lab.
Feb/March have been great learning experience.
There have been ups and downs, but such is life.
As an introvert I have had to adapt to communal living,
but when you are in good company it is rather easy.

My skills in carpentry and appliance repair have improved greatly,
and I can see myself building structures and fixing many things in the near future.
I have fully acclimatized to the weather here, and then some.
A truly cold day is in the minus, a regular day is in the teens.
A hot day is 20+.

I&I body is much stronger, and eating nothing but high quality organic food has increased
overall health. The well water here is also very good.

Winter in Montana is amazing, nothing like what I was used to in California.
Winter restricts many projects on the Lab, but the anticipation, new ideas, and motivation
to start building a permaculture homestead are constantly expanding.
The projects we are completing add to the overall functionality of the Lab, so thats a big plus.

It's a blessing to have a Tribe. I give thanks to all my Brothers, Chris, Jeremy, Robbie
and Paul. I especially give thanks for Jocelyn, she makes the Tribe whole, she is the anchor
and completes the synergy of the Tribe. I innerstand why many of my indigenous Ancestors were matriarchal.
She makes sure everyone is well-fed, healthy, and content.

There is so much to learn and so much to do. All in good time.
Looking forward to the next coming months.
I eagerly await Spring and the thaw, but
respect and honor the lessons Winter teaches.

• Snow started melting today, sun was shining bright all day
• You can probably guess what we did today...MO' SHELVES
