West NY Newbie seeking new contact and friends who are into alternative building and permaculture

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm Ian and I'm currently located between Buffalo and Rochester. I am currently seeking to reach out to people in the West New York area who are either currently homesteading or want to start homesteading. I would love to possibly help out with building projects so I can develop the skills needed for building my own house in the near future. I have strong personal ethical commitment to living as freely as I possibly can and pioneering more ecological sustainable ways of living. I am not currently sure what else to say here.
