Decided to try a hugelkultur. Here are some pics of the process.

Got the contour, and decided to frame the downhill side cause its a bit steep.

Dug a swale, mostly to get soil for the hugel bed..

Measured the contour a few feet up hill from the wood, dug a swale and put the dirt on the hugel bed
