So... Paul asked me to try to wrap my head around this new upgrade dealio and tell him what he needs to do.. But I just don't really get it. I understand that they want us to upgrade but like, should we just wait until it auto upgrades us?

Has anyone dealt with this? Or can someone figure out what the heck I should do... Haha

Do you not have the option to start the transition to UGA in your admin settings?

In my experience,

- you start the transition manually
- Google switches you over when it feels like it (can be a week for example, or it can be faster than that)
- you fix your javascript code to use UGA (analytics.js) instead of old GA (ga.js) (it's not just a change of the filename; you can see the entire recommended script block when you've been switched)
- things work
