I'm starting to throw around the idea of getting rooftop solar.

I've heard good things about banks or companies financing solar with loans or other deals.

Has anyone had a good experience with this? Or have a group they'd recommend?

I'd suggest saving for solar rather than financing it. It's more expensive to finance and then you run the risk of some horrid event happening and putting you in default. Do you want your roof repod?

Yes and no.

While it would be cheaper to buy solar outright, it would be more expensive to run our on-grid electric for the years it will take to save up.
It's cheaper in the long term to finance.

The question stands, has anyone had good experiences with a financing company?
