Hello from Central Virginia

I just realized that I have not done an introduction yet!

My name is Charles Kleff and me and my wife have just purchased a little over 2 acres in central Virginia. We are working towards sustainable permanent agriculture but I will admit that not everything we do is sustainable. This year we are focusing on three things:

1) Fencing in the future orchard (aka the back yard)
2) Establishing the annual garden
3) Establishing a small flock of chickens and ducks for egg and meat production (respectively)

We start work on the second two the weekend of the 21rst so we are going to be busy! We already have a google+ page, a blog, and a youtube channel (link to the blog can be found in my signature). Unfortunately since we are a week away from breaking ground there is not a lot of content on any of them. We hope to change this soon.
