Anyone here coppice for building supplies, basketry, other purposes?

What's your favourite reference for managing a coppice forest? What kind of trees do/would you grow? What do/would you make from the wood you harvest?

I'm coppicing for livestock feed, firewood & mushrooms. Info is scattered around the net.
