Anyone know of an OP cucumber variety that would be good for growing indoors, in pots, year round? I would be using lights in the winter.

Any tips for growing cucumbers in pots and/or indoors?

Look for one of the Bush varieties... They have little short vines which will be easy to keep under lights.

Will you be the pollinator? I grow several varieties of parthenocarpic cucumbers in my greenhouse, but they are not OP and the seed isn't cheap. If you end up doing a non-parthenocarpic variety indoors you will need to be the bee.

Being the bee is fine by me.

Thanks for the reminder. I've gotten use to tomatoes where I just have to tickle them.

I didn't know there were bush varieties. I haven't found any that are OP yet, can you think of any off the top of your head?

What about a kind of cucumber like Tant Alice that does well in the greenhouse? It's a vine, but if I could provide the support, what size/volume pot would it want?

Watchya got in that poodle gun? Anything for me? Or this tiny ad?
