pvc to poly pipe fittings best practice

We just finished rough plumbing on our new cabin. Split drains for greywater and septic. Greywater is in 2" pvc coming out of the house. I'd like to distribute it in 1" poly pipe as this is what I can get cheaply and conveniently.

What is the best way to go from 2" pvc to 1" poly?

I have a 2 X 1 1/4 bushing followed by a 1 1/4 x 1 barb fitting - this will do the trick but it sure looks prone to clogging. Is there a better way to do this?

(FWIW I have absolutely no experience w/ greywater at all and not much w/ plumbing generally.)

Mostly you will find recommendations to discharge into a shallow bed of coarse gravel that drains to your filtering feature Reeds or
Cattails. This can be very minimalist, expanding to cover your exact needs ! Mother nature will handle distribution just fine !

Jules McW. : I would attempt to have my shower and clothes washer drain / pump into a holding tank that would slowly drain down
slowly running to the crushed gravel and keep my pipe size as large as possible

There are net bags that hang off of the end of the crook in your washing machines discharge hose, you have to remember to clean
them semi regularly. You are on your own to manage any hair that goes down your shower drain, but your best defense is Short
hair .

An iron pipe nipple is thinner walled than a plastic fitting, or use a larger size piece of electrical conduit as this has the thinest wall
section of all. design your runs to be as short as possible, with few fittings and no elbows if possible !

With grey water the pitch of you pipe should not be critical, for black water follow your local codes for pitch and run !
