[Not sure if this is the right thread for posting about cheap land...]

Summary: there is cheap land in Spain: NPR article here

While this opportunity makes me sad because it is at the expense of others who don't have much to spend, it is an opportunity none the less. As this opportunity will likely be taken advantage of by plenty of people, why not have some of them be good heart permie folk?

It seems like there is a bunch of cheap land for sale in Spain as folk move to the cities. Could be a cool opportunity for a group looking for a place to start a perma-village. Then again, I guess there is plenty of fairly cheap land in the us too: rural land deals

I am not sure that this is a very useful post, I guess I am just dreaming of what I might do once I am done learning at university and head off for adventures in doing good things...
