I have an acres worth of winter barley seed I need to plant out. However, I'm struggling with timing. I usually try to broadcast my seed before expected rain. We aren't expecting rain. I hate to throw it out and have it sitting there for who knows how long but also, not expecting rain. What would you do?
Right now, I would watch the extended forecast and plant just before rain is expected.
As long as you get it in the ground before the end of September you should be ok.
