My name is Luke and I like wood..

I recently qualified as a site carpenter at Level 2 however I have very little interest working on a standard building site for years to come.

I do however have a deep interest in traditional building methods,

Which is why I'm offering my help to anyone in need of an extra pair of hands to create using such traditional timber methods,
In exchange for the experience to learn and gain knowledge to create myself and hopefully pass the knowledge on to other like minded people.

Also I would be grateful if anyone had any ideas of how I could expand this offer to the correct people?

I currently reside in Nottingham, UK,
Would be willing to travel to be involved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Luke

Hi Luke,

http://www.thepoosh.org/ would be right up your street...

I recently volunteered with Simon and Jasmine Dale at Lammas - they've got the bulk of the timber frame up but plenty left to be done! See http://www.simondale.net/earthlea.htm

Have fun!

Sean
