I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in the tree forum, but this one specifies it is for IDs. Sorry for the poor focus, it was turning dusk and they looked better on my phone's screen.
The trees I saw were 10-12 feet tall, wild. The fruits were about the size of a blueberry. The pics were taken Nov 10.
I can think of 3 plants.
Juneberry but they ripen in June and it is November so NO
Aronia, but they don't get that tall and ripen late August
Nannyberry, I am not personally growing them so I am not too sure but even then it is most likely a no. So most likely it is a non-edible tree.
Iterations are fine, we don't have to be perfect

I'm 99% sure this is Japanese privet. You can fin more info about it here. It can be a bit difficult to distinguish between Japanese and Chinese privet. Don't try to eat the fruits because they aren't edible.
